Mospyne is a city in the Proletarskyi District of Donetsk urban hromada, Donetsk Raion, Donetsk Oblast in Ukraine, 8 km (26,000 ft) southeast of Donetsk. The population is estimated as 10,471 while the population in 2001 was recorded as 11,736. Since 2014, the city has been under the control of the self-declared Donetsk People's Republic. The city's area is 13.93 km2 (5.38 sq mi).
