Gregory Pakourianos

Gregory Pakourianos was a Byzantine politician and military commander of Georgian origin. He was the founder of the Monastery of the Mother of God Petritzonitissa in Bachkovo and author of its typikon. The monks of this Orthodox monastery were Iberians.
